This policy covers the Veyra desktop app, optional Chrome extension, and download and account website.

Account and preferences

Authentication services process your email, account identifier, and sign-in information. The app retains your session and preferences so you can stay signed in. Local history and drafts may remain on your device until you delete them or clear app data.

Chrome extension

The extension can be used without the desktop app. Google sign-in verifies your Veyra account. Chrome stores your session, draft and preferences locally until you sign out or remove them. Before typing, your writing is sent to the authenticated Veyra account service to calculate and enforce your word allowance. The Usage panel reads your plan and remaining allowance. Chrome debugger access sends keyboard input to the Google Docs or Slides editor you select.

Writing and permissions

Typing sends your text to the editor you select. The optional extension accesses the selected supported browser tab to perform writing. Computer-use features may capture screen content when enabled. Permissions can be revoked in your operating system or Chrome.

Chrome extension data

The extension sends the selected document URL and title, prepared writing, and session progress to the Veyra app on your own computer. It retains draft text, preferences, and an app connection token in Chrome local storage. Sign-in credentials entered in the extension are passed to the app for account authentication; the extension does not save plaintext passwords. It does not collect general browsing history or log unrelated keystrokes. User-requested AI operations can send selected text through your connected provider. Veyra does not sell this data or use it for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending decisions.

AI and providers

When you enable a connected AI provider, prompts and relevant content are sent to that provider. Local writing checks run on your device. Provider keys are stored using the app’s available secure storage; do not share your keys.

Website and billing

Account, allowance, and subscription records are processed by configured backend services. Payment details are entered with the payment provider, not embedded in the app or website files. Submitting the contact form sends your email address, selected topic, and message to Veyra support through Netlify Forms. This information is used to respond to your request. Contact email links may also open your email app.

Account administration

The Veyra owner can review account names, email addresses, plans, allowance usage, and app version, operating-system family, and last check-in time. These records support account administration, free plan grants, access restrictions, and in-app update notices. Owner actions are logged. This console does not collect or display private chat or document text.

Your choices

You can delete chats, disconnect providers, sign out, and revoke permissions. Contact us for account-data questions or deletion requests. Third-party providers may retain information under their own privacy policies.
